Welcome to the Hispanas Unidas website. Hispanas Unidas is a 501 (c ) (3) non-profit organization founded in 1983. The organization, based in San Antonio, Texas implements a serious and viable teen pregnancy and teenage delinquency prevention program for girls ages 8 to 14 years by utilizing a culturally sensitive curriculum, a mentoring and leadership program that includes a prestigious array of prominent community leaders and guest speakers. The program is currently being implemented in low-income, at-risk neighborhoods in San Antonio where we know teen pregnancy, drug abuse and truancy are prevalent.
Our website was designed to provide you with the organization’s history, mission and description of our current Escuelitas program.
